To add to the Green Energy - Wind Edition information, I always think of the steel, concrete, and copper used to make those windmills. Truly stuff out of Hoffer's "The True Believer" in order to think that the words 'renewable' and 'green' are attached to those things.
Eventually subsidies and fantasy run out of inertia, and money losing ineffectiveness hit the books. One of the things I think you're really good at is how to jockey for investment position in such goofy situations.

And yet, although they exploit the wind, which is as free and as green as energy can be, the machines themselves are pure embodiments of fossil fuels."
Yes I take my hat off to the likes of Mark Nelson and Alex Epstein who fight the narratives from a activist perspective. For me I've always had the more skeptical view that the best I could do is understand how best to position to make money off the stupidity to better the lives of my family, friends and now subscribers.
