I read a UK authored report about Wind-farm developments a few years ago, summing up what you are reporting, Ferg. In essence, the economic modelling in all projects (a) model too long an asset life (b) under cook the ongoing maintenance expenses, and (c) now that the cost of capital is rising and given that capex is front loaded for these project ... these are at risk of becoming white elephants.
