Discussing the Opportunity Set with Sid Grover

I always love chatting with Sid, as he views the investment world similarly to me yet sets a higher bar on investments and runs a more concentrated portfolio. I use position sizing to manage risk, while Sid, with larger positions, has to dig deeper to be more comfortable with the full range of risks and their probabilities. This makes for some interesting discussions on attractive investment opportunities that have geopolitical and jurisdictional risks hanging over them. Current examples are Australian thermal coal and tin in the DRC. With Sid currently being a third cash, we run through the sectors and potential investment opportunities he has his eyes on.
